EGLL to EDDM - Performance: great!

As i wrote yesterday i did my first flight on the fresh setup yesterday and i’m totally blown about the performance. I’m also glad about the stability but as the flight only took a bit more than an hour it’s not worth talking about that yet.

The flight took me from London Heathrow (EGLL) with Aerosofts wonderful “Mega Airport London Heathrow 2008″ scenery to Munich “Franz Josef Strauß Airport” (EDDM) with the rather old but nonetheless performance hungry scenery of also Aerosofts German Airport 1. I took the PMDG 747-400 “Queen of the skies” in the Lufthansa Livery and i must say i have not seen such a stable performance in all the FS2004 time i’ve had so far. The 747 is truely one of the most performance intensive aircraft available and so is the new EGLL scenery. I locked my fps to 30 and there have only been a few seconds while taxiing from the gate to the runway where those came down a bit - and it still was 25-26. Great stuff.

The performance was stable until landing at EDDM which was quite a bad landing. That depends on that little FS training i had during the last months. Unfortunately i forgot to take some nice shots. I’d love to present some and therefore i just installed HyperSnap again to get some ready next time - probably tonight.
